Collins, a 2001 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a B.S. Biology and Economics. His experience includes Ecolochem 2001, Constellation Energy 2003, ChemStaff 2014, Amazon Web Services (AWS) 2022. Areas of expertise are Software Engineering, Laboratory Information Management Systems, Automating Data Acquisition, Nuclear Plant Chemistry, Data Science.

Collins has developed a career-long connection with the Python programming language first triggered with his introduction to Linux in 2003. Collins spent a dozen years replacing Excel spreadsheets with Pandas dataframes. And his next adventure involved building custom web app data visualizations and engineering products for a consulting group. Currently Collins is a Software Engineer at AWS.
